I hope everyone is doing very well and have had a good start of 2019! 😁 Do you guys also think that 2018 passed so fast? 😦 Last year was the craziest and most challenging year for me. A lot of things happened and many of them are still going on, for example, my move to Denmark... If you have lost track of my previous blog posts, I can just say it again: I have taken a huge step in my life - I've moved to Sweden - and soon Denmark.
So here, I'd like to show you some of my very favorite places I've visited on my previous visits to my future home country.
Espero que todos estén muy bien y que hayan tenido un buen comienzo de año 😁 ¿Ustedes también piensan que el 2018 se pasó volando? 😮 El año pasado fue el año más loco y difícil que he tenido. Demasiadas cosas pasaron y muchas de ellas aún están pasando, por ejemplo: mi mudanza a Dinamarca... Si alguno de ustedes se ha perdido mis publicaciones pasadas lo puedo decir de nuevo: Me he mudado a Suecia - y pronto me mudaré a Dinamarca.
Es por eso que me gustaría enseñarles algunos de mis lugares favoritos a los que he ido en mis visitas anteriores a Dinamarca.
Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød
Do you think it looks nice? If so, let me just tell you that it looks 100 times better in real life. Even when you are standing right in front of it, it looks surreal. Like most castles, this one is surrounded by a beautiful and clean moat. Then there is the garden - the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. It is so well-maintained, enormous, colorful and fresh. You would not find a single defect in it.
However, that day Daniel and I were supposed to visit two castles on the same day - impossible. When visiting places like this, you have to, at least, give it the whole day. We had been in the first one for about four hours and still could not finish it. My suggestion? If you ever visit a castle, wear very comfortable clothes because you will be walking a lot, bring your own food because you will be there for a long time (but you cannot eat inside the castle) and will have no time to go out, eat, and come back. Lastly and most importantly, enjoy it to the fullest!
Creen que el lugar se ve bonito? Si sí, dejenme decirles que se ve 100 veces mejor en la vida real. Incluso cuando estas parado justo enfrente del castillo se ve irreal. Como todos los castillos, este esta rodeado de agua. Después esta el jardín - que por cierto es lo más hermoso que he visto. Esta muy bien cuidado, es enorme, colorido y fresco. No se puede encontrar un solo defecto.
Sin embargo, se suponia que Daniel y yo iriamos a visitar dos castillos ese mismo dia - imposible. Cuando visitas un lugar asi, tienes que por lo menos darle un dia entero para rodearlo. Habíamos estado ya cuatro horas en el castillo, y aún nos faltaba mucho por ver. Mi sugerencia? Si alguna vez visitas un castillo, viste ropa súper cómoda, porque estarás caminando por horas y horas. También trae tu propia comida porque estarás allí por mucho tiempo (no se puede comer adentro del castillo) y no tendrás tiempo de salir, comer y regresar. Y por último y más importante, disfrútalo al máximo!
Vejlefjord hotel and spa in Vejle
This place is absolutely a dream come true. I could just list all the pleasures it offers, but I prefer you to see it with your own eyes and draw your own conclusions.
Este lugar es absolutamente un sueño hecho realidad. Podría nombrar todos los placeres que ofrece, pero prefiero que lo vean con sus propios ojos y saquen sus propias conclusiones.
I have gone to this spa two times - in the summer and in the winter. If I could go back again, I would definitely go there in the winter. Even though the view was not as nice in the winter than it was in the summer, I still enjoyed going into the baths, the sauna as well as the steam bath more. Why is that? Because the temperature outside was freezing, so it was just amazing being under warm water and inside a warm place when it is that cold outside.
In addition, I like this place because only adults are allowed, meaning that one actually gets to relax and be in a very peaceful environment (a spa is a perfect place to have a getaway with your partner). Besides, I had a delightful time trying out different kinds of baths - the forest bath, the Thalasso bath, the panorama bath, and others that have sound under the water, soothing lights, aroma in the air and water, as well as two more with freezing and really hot water.
This is not at all an advertisement for the spa. I simply included it on my blog because it is one of my favorite places in Denmark.
He ido a este spa dos veces - en el verano y en el invierno. Si pudiera regresar de nuevo, definitivamente regresaria en el invierno. A pesar de que la vista afuera es mucho mejor en el verano que en el invierno, aún asi disfrute las piscinas, el sauna y el vapor mucho más en el invierno. Por qué? Porque la tempratura afuera esta congelada, entonces se siente maravilloso estar bajo el agua caliente mientras que el clima esta super frio afuera.
Adicionalmente, me encanta este lugar porque solo permiten la entrada a adultos, lo que significa que uno de verdad disfruta de un rato de relajación en un ambiente lleno de paz (un spa es el mejor lugar para escaparte y tener un dia maravilloso con tu pareja). Además, tuve un dia encantador disfrutando de diferentes piscinas - un abierta al aire libre ( en el bosque), otra con agua salada, otra al centro de todo el spa, otra con sonito, otra con luz, otra con aroma y por último una con agua helada y otra con agua super super caliente.

The Old Town
I have always liked visiting old places. And, when I was taken to The Old Town in Århus, Denmark, I fell deeply in love with it. From the moment you step inside, is like walking into a completely new world. Everything you see there is based on the old times, such as buildings, furniture, clothing, means of transport, and so on.
Desde siempre me ha gustado visitar lugares antiguos. Y cuando fui llevada al "Pueblo Antiguo" en Aarhus, Dinamarca, me enamoré del lugar por completo. Desde el momento que pones un pie adentro, es como si entraras a otro mundo. Todas las construcciones, muebles, vestimenta, medios de transporte, etc. esta basado en el pasado.
